1. Introduction

    These User Content Submission Terms ("Submission Terms") are supplemental to the general Terms and Conditions of inReading and govern your submission of content to the inReading portal ("Portal").

  2. Types of Content

    Users are permitted to submit reviews, recommendations, articles, events, images, audio, and video (collectively, "User Content") for possible publication on the Portal.

  3. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old to submit content.

  4. Content Ownership and Rights Grant

    By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that you own all rights to the User Content or, alternatively, that you have the right to give us the rights described below. You also represent and warrant that the User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights of any third party.

    You retain your ownership rights in your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to inReading, you hereby grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Portal and our business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Portal in any media formats and through any media channels.

  5. User Content Standards

    User Content must not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable. It must not promote sexually explicit or violent material, discrimination, or any illegal activity. All submissions must be truthful.

  6. Review and Moderation

    All User Content is subject to review and moderation. We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to decide whether User Content complies with these Submission Terms and may remove such User Content and/or terminate your access for uploading User Content at any time, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.

  7. No Compensation

    Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, your provision of User Content is made without any expectation of compensation or acknowledgment.

  8. Liability for User Content

    You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for any User Content you submit or contribute, and you have full responsibility for such content, including its legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness. We are not responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of User Content posted by you or any other user of the Portal.

  9. Changes to Submission Terms

    We reserve the right to modify or replace these Submission Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Services.
